Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe

Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe
This is an old fashioned holiday favorite! My crew loves this old recipe, which was given to me on our wedding day from one of my grandma’s dearest friends. It has satisfied many a appetite and brings back memories of a younger day! What a special gift a casserole dish was with this delicious recipe! Thank you grandma for having such great friends! It is my pleasure to share it with you and hope it brings you and your family many happy meals!

- 3 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/3 cup milk

Topping:
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Combine first 6 ingredients; whip thoroughly. Spoon into casserole . Mix together topping ingredients. Sprinkle over potato mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes.
